The Tribute to New Zealand Heroes Association are proud to announce that our next tournament is the Nancy Wake Memorial Trophy.
A mixed doubles 8 Ball match, to be held at the Waikanae Club on Saturday the 19 of October.
After this we head to Invercargill Workingmen's Club for the First Jack Hinton VC Memorial Trophy.
This will prove to be an interesting format, it is a team’s event, 3 people per team, the games are Snooker, Pool & Bowls. This works on a points basis, with each team member awarded points for their game and the team with the most points win the trophy. Like all our tournaments this one is also a fundraising event for the Mental health foundation. After all costs are paid the Mental Health Foundation get the balance of the money.
Our final tournament for the year is the James Ward VC which is to be played at the Metro Club Wanganui on the 23-24 November and is a 2-person team, Darts and Pool.
The Tribute to New Zealand Heroes Association aims to raise funds and awareness of Mental Health and assist Families, Communities and people suffering with Mental Health Issues throughout New Zealand address and manage respective conditions with dignity, pride and self-respect.
